August 2009

Amy has teamed up with playwright Jason Bartlett on a production of his play The Interview. The play will feature local actors from Dewsbury and is based around one woman's experience of the Holocaust. Amy will compose original music for the production which is expected to tour nationally in 2010.

September 2008

LRSM

After a 45min recital (violin), viva-voce and sightreading test, Amy was awarded the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music in Violin Performance.


March 2008

UNICEF Donation

Amy's private pupils have raised just over £540 for UNICEF through a Sponsored Practise. Each pupil was given a piece of music to learn in 2 weeks while collecting sponsors.

Two prizes were awarded:
Highest Mark: Michael Brill (9/10)
Most Money Raised: Nancy Ehrenberg-Peters (£108.50)


February 2008

Competition Sucess

Amy has won the Jane Boxall Marimba Composition Competition with Haiku I. The work will be premiered on the 21st April 2008 in Illinois, USA and commercially recorded and released on CD in the summer of 2008.
The two other movements (Haiku II & III) were also given an Honourable Mention and will be performed on the 3rd of April 2008 in Urbana, USA
